Miss Roberta Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Nelson of Lincoln, became the bride of LeRoy Nelson [sic], son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hofker on July 18 at the Christian Missionary Alliance Tabernacle in Havelock. Mrs. Kenneth Federle played the wedding music and accompanied Miss Lucille Maxwell who played the xylophone and Miss Elain Madsen who sang. Miss Delores Peterson lighted the candles. The bride wore a gown of white marquiset and a finger tip veil. Her bouquet was of white carnations and red roses. He maid of honor, Miss Deloras Hofker, sister of the bride-groom, wore a peach colored gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers. Erwin Mulhow served as best man and Melvin Nelson, Jr., carried the rings. A reception was held at the activity center.
Mr. Hofker has been recenlty discharged after two years of service in the army. The couple will reside in Lincoln.
