Mrs. Maude Matthews
Funeral Services for Mrs. Maude Matthews, 50, who died Friday in a Newport News, Va., hospital, will be held in Piney Mountain Methodist church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The Rev. John Burger, the Rev. C.M. White, and the Rev. T.A. Groce will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Honson Cecil, Wayn, and Fred M. Matthews, Anrold Taylor, and J.P. Mintz.
Dunn and Groce funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are the husband, Theo Matthews, two sons by a previous marriage, Chadburn Warren, of Platteville, Colo., and Dick Warren, of Asheville; two daughters, one by a previous marriage, Miss Phyllis Warren, of Candler, and Miss Dorothy Jean Matthews, of Newport News, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Katie Henson, of Candler; five brothers, Jess Warren, of Asheville, Paul Warren, of Forest City, Monroe Warren, of Enka, Jack Warren of Candler, and Clarence Warren, of New Jersey; and a grandson, Marlowe C. Warren.
