    SELMA: Born in sod-house on homestead in Nebr. Spent childhood in Lincoln where she received her early schooling. At 9 she moved back with her folks to the homestead and did much backbreaking work. As a young girl she went to Omaha to seek work and returned periodically with beautiful clothes and excellent grooming. After alternating between Omaha and the homestead for some time, she met one of two young Swedes who had recently arrived in the U. S., a Mr. Axel A. Anderson, (his brother August married Selma

    Selma married Axel Alfred Anderson on 26 Mar 1898 in Grace Lutheran Church, Swedeburg, Saunders County, Nebraska by Rev. Arthur H. Peterson. She taught school for two years, then worked in Omaha for a while, but due to bad health (from which she later recovered) had to forego any further teaching.     SIGURD BERNT FABIAN: Born May 28, 1901. Destined as a youth to become a world-famous violinist, but ran into competition with a buggy wheel which abruptly halted the doting career. On observing the buggy wheel rating more of the practice hour than the violin, his dad cryptically remarked:

    THEOLINA ELIZABETH: Born July 23, 1908. Finished high school in Osceola, then continued studies at Augustana College, (Rock Island, Ill.) where she devoted much of her attention to art. She evinced much interest in this subject and she became Mrs. Henry Krogh on Sept. 10, 1932. Henry (of Danish extraction) operates a service station and shop in Omaha, Nebr., where they reside. They are members of Lutheran Church there. They have two children: Janet, born Feb. 9, 1941, who is a very smart girl and loves all sorts of old things and antiques, and Gordon, born Jan. 6, 1946.
