    Pearson, Eva L.

    Eva L. Pearson, 90, of Wahoo, died Tuesday (2/23/10) in Lincoln. She was born April 7, 1919 in Blair, Neb. to Grover and Hulda (Schaffer) Wilkins. Eva graduated from Kennard High School and Dana College in Blair. She then taught for 13 years at Arlington, Elkhorn, Desoto, and Masters Country School. On August 17, 1952 she married Norman A. Pearson at the Arlington, Neb. Methodist Church. The couple resided and farmed southwest of Wahoo.
    Preceded in death by parents; husband; brothers, Bill, Joe, and Jamie Wilkins; sisters-in-law, Marian and Eileen Wilkins. Survived by daughter, Penny (Allen) Henriksen, Norfolk, Neb.; son Kent (Laurie) Pearson, Wahoo, Neb.; brothers, Robert Wilkins, Fremont, Dr. Gene Wilkins, Ennis, Mont.; sisters-in-law, Muriel Wilkins, Lincoln, Toby Wilkins of Ennis, Mont.; grandchildren, Joel and Hayley Henriksen, Norfolk, Kendra and Katie Pearson, Wahoo.
    Funeral Monday 10:30 a.m. Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation Saturday 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., funeral home. Interment Sunrise Cemetery. Memorials to the church or University of NE Foundation - Parkinson's Research. Please visit www.prussnabity.com. Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home, Wahoo, in charge of arrangements.

    Eva married Norman August Pearson on 17 Aug 1952 in Arlington, Nebraska. Norman (son of Carl Oscar (C.O.) Pearson and Milsa Marie Olive Ekdahl) was born on 5 Aug 1919 in Swedeburg, Saunders County, Nebraska; died on 25 Nov 1999 in Wahoo, Saunders County, Nebraska; was buried on 29 Nov 1999 in Sunrise Cemetery, Wahoo, Saunders County, Nebraska.
