A very interesting event occurred at the residence of Mr. John Campbell yesterday - a famiily reunion, upon his mother's ninetieth birthday. Some twenty-five guests were present - representing four generations. Eight great-grandchildren paid their respects, among them two who are young ladies grown.
Mrs. Campbell is a native of Scotland, but has been a resident of America some fifty-five years. Has been a widow 28 years, and a frequent visitor here for 25 years. She has lived with her daughters at Kingston, Wis. for some years, but a few weeks since came here to spend the rest of her days with her son. She is in the possession of her faculties to a remarkable degree, walking around the yard with a cane, and reading The Republican without glasses.
