Name Hilda Nelson Notes - Hilda was baptized and confirmed in Sweden. She came to America April 10, 1882. Here she stayed and worked for Nels and Karolina(Nelson,her sister) Eliason and when she had saved enough money she went back to Sweden. The reason for the trip was Nils Pearson. She took Nils to America where they were married. She came to America in company with her sister Selma, Mrs. C.E. Danielson. She and her husband lived on a farm west of Ceresco for 36 years, and prior to that 6 miles north, in the Swedeburg community. In about 1934 she and her daughters had a new home built in Ceresco, where she lived until her death. The address is 116 3rd St, Ceresco, NE. On her death certificate, Axel listed her father as Johannas Nelson? The 1920 census says she was naturalized in 1915.
