1790 | It was the Reverend Daiss. He came to America as a mission pastor to Fontanelle NE on Sept. 13, 1878, he was 28. He died of a liver ailment caused by a fall down some stairs. He moved to Berger, Franklin, MO, all the graves are there. In the 1910 census the family lived in Boeuf TS, Franklin, MO and he said he was a precher, and both his parents were born in Germany. In the 1880 census he and wife catherine, daughter Martha and his sister Lydia lived in Fontenelle, NE. He was a precher. The informant on the death certificate was Mathilda Daiss. The birth records of MO show two Daiss children born on March 16 1885 in High Ridge,Jefferson,MO, to Joseph and Catherine, no names are shown.
