H e died at 500 East Park, Blair NE. Occupation listed as laborer. His middle initial was listed as O. in 'The Ladd Family' by Warren Ladd.
    In 1920 they lived in Blair, Washington, NE and he was a pile driver.

    At age 21 moved to WV for 5 years, then to LaSalle Co. IL for 6 years. Then to NE. This info from "History of the Elkhorn Valley, NE" Published in 1892 by C.H. Scoville and the National Publishing Co. He was one of the very first pioneers of the Elkhorn Valley, arriving in 1856. He invented a revolving harrow and a car jack and made many of each in his blacksmith shop .

In the 1910 census she was living with her son Sidney in Ewing, Holt, NE. She said she bore 7 children and all were living at that time. She was a widow at that time, she said.
