Albert was a lumberman. He lived in IA and WA. In 1918 on his WWI card, he and Pearl lived in Dupont, Spokane, WA. In the 1920 census they were living in Deer Park City, Spokane, WA. He said his father was born in IA and mother in the USA. He was a lumber mill laborer.

Albert married Edith Pearl Ladd in 1906 in Spokane, Spokane, WA. Edith (daughter of Sidney A Ladd and Dora Shriver) was born on 10 May 1887 in Omaha, Douglas, NE; died on 22 Jun 1951 in Spokane, Spokane, WA; was buried in Jun 1951 in Woodland Cem., Deer Park, Spokane, WA. Sidney was a farmer. He lived in NE and WY. In the 1900 census, he lists himself as divorced? In 1910 census he says widower and father of 5 children, all living at the time. He was living with his mother Malinda in Ewing , Holt, NE in 1910.

Sidney married Dora Shriver on 20 Jan 1881 in Blair, Washington, NE. Dora was born on 11 Jan 1862 in , Burt, NE; died in 1911 in Deer Park, Spokane, WA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

At age 21 moved to WV for 5 years, then to LaSalle Co. IL for 6 years. Then to NE. This info from "History of the Elkhorn Valley, NE" Published in 1892 by C.H. Scoville and the National Publishing Co. He was one of the very first pioneers of the Elkhorn Valley, arriving in 1856. He invented a revolving harrow and a car jack and made many of each in his blacksmith shop .
