John emigrated to the USA in 1888. He came by way of Hull, England and Liverpool and New York. In 1890 he returned to Sweden for two months and his wife Anna died there. John made a return trip to Sweden. On this trip he met a school teacher, Maria Olson, they married and 3 more daughters were born. His grave stone says he died 1929?
In 1920 he was retired and they were living in Stocking precinct, Saunders, NE. All the children were gone.
In 1900 he was a grain agent and the family lived in Colon, (Center precinct), Saunders, NE.John married Maria Olson in 1892. Maria was born on 27 Sep 1855 in , , Sweden; died on 24 Jan 1921; was buried in Jan 1921 in Fridhem Cem., Swedeburg, Saunders, NE. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
