    HERBERT W. NELSON RITES AT CERESCO

    Funeral services for Herbert W. Nelson, 78, of Ceresco were held in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Ceresco, Saturday, December 30, 1967 with Rev. Glenn Stenholm officiating.
    Born June 13, 1889, he died Wednesday, December 27, in Lincoln.
    Assisting in the service was soloist Irvin Pearson, Jr. and accompanied by organist Mrs. Leonard Palm.
    Casket bearers were: Milton Anderson, Wilhelm Hansen, Paul Heiser, Glen Larson, Robert Scoles and Amos Sklenar.
    Internment was in Grace Lutheran Cemetery at Swedeburg, with Nelson Funeral Home of Ceresco in charge of arrangements.

    Herbert married Esther Victoria Walin on 16 May 1923. Esther (daughter of Klaes (Claus) Levine Walin and Anna Matilda Brodd) was born on 20 Aug 1896 in Rural Ceresco, Saunders County, Nebraska; died on 25 May 1995 in the Saunders County Community Hospital, Wahoo, Saunders County, Nebraska; was buried on 29 May 1995 in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Swedeburg, Saunders County, Nebraska.     ESTHER V. NELSON

    Esther V. Nelson, 98, of rural Davey, died Thursday, May 25, 1995 at the Saunders County Community Hospital in Wahoo.
    Ms. Nelson was born August 20, 1896 in Saunders County. She was a charter member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ceresco.
    Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Laurel and Rose Nelson of Davey; sister, Mrs. Henry Heiser of Lincoln, two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, 1995 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ceresco. Pastor Richard Woolard officiated. Burial took place at the Swedeburg Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wahoo. Pall bearers were Gary W. Nelson, Stacey W. Nelsonavid Stark, Leonard Palm, Paul Heiser, Harvey Wegeman.
