2. | Olof Pearson was born on 5 Dec 1840 in Malmohus Lan, Skane, Sweden; died on 19 Jul 1934 in Lincoln, Lancaster, NE; was buried on 22 Jul 1934 in Fridhem Cem., Swedeburg, Saunders, NE. Notes: Olof was born in Odartslof Parish, Malmohus Lan. He went to America in the spring of 1869. He came with a friend, Hans Hanson. Both settled in Stocking Precinct, Saunders, NE. They had 9 children. Eight of the nine lived to adulthood and were able to attend their parents 50th wedding celebration in 1922. Olof was the next to last charter member of the Swedeburg Mission Church to die. Olof married Maria (Mary) Christina Swanson on 11 Oct 1872 in Swedeburg, Saunders, NE. Maria was born on 24 Jun 1848 in Asarps Parish, Alfsborgeland, Sweden; died on 6 Feb 1926 in Swedeburg, Saunders, NE; was buried on 10 Feb 1926 in Fridhem Cem., Swedeburg, Saunders, NE. 3. | Maria (Mary) Christina Swanson was born on 24 Jun 1848 in Asarps Parish, Alfsborgeland, Sweden; died on 6 Feb 1926 in Swedeburg, Saunders, NE; was buried on 10 Feb 1926 in Fridhem Cem., Swedeburg, Saunders, NE. Notes: Maria came to America with her mother and stepfather Mr Norman. In the spring of 1869. Her obit lists sisters, Mrs. Tilda Hedlund, Swedeburg, Mrs Eda Halner, Turlock CA and one brother, J.L. Norman, Kingburg, CA. "Grandma Hedlund & Family, Swedeburg" sent a telegram at the time of Sigrid's funeral.
