If you are related to me or to Dale, you might want to pay attention to this blog!
I have a large and always-growing collection of family history papers, articles, documents and artifacts that really ought to be shared with everyone in the family. Dale and I have also done some traveling in Germany and in Sweden and have many stories to tell about our ancestors’ lives there.
If you would like to stay informed about our family history, please consider subscribing to this blog. That way, you will get an email every time there’s something new. I have pre-subscribed a few people who I know are regular readers (if you’re one of them, you got an email), but anyone can subscribe by entering an email address on the subscription page. After you subscribe, make sure that the emails go to your inbox and not to your spam folder.
Although I will continue to use Facebook to put up notices from time to time, an email subscription is really the best way to stay informed.
Here are just a few of things I’ll be telling about in the coming months:
- First of all, I’m going to begin sharing some information about the Rademacher, Kreifels and Cogburn families.
- On the Frasier side of my family, I recently got copies of my great-great-great-grandfather’s service and pension records from the Civil War.
- I have some old issues of the “Ceresco News” just brimming with little anecdotes about both sides of my family – it will be fun to see who was doing what on random days during the 1940’s
- PHOTOS! I have tons of pictures.
You know, I had always intended to put all this stuff into books but quite honestly I have too much stuff to fit in a book, not to mention that the minute the book is printed, it will be outdated. I’m always finding something new! I think putting this information out to all the relatives in bite-sized chunks will be more fun anyway.
I hope you can come along for the ride!

What a great idea! I’m so excited to hear more. Our family is so lucky that you are taking the time to do this. If run into so many people who have no Idea about their history. Thank you so much

I would love to have copies of all of the family photos. If I provide a CD would you be able to fill it up – then I could take it to have the ones I want printed out. Let me know. Thanks
