This week the theme is described as “Oops – We all make mistakes. This week, consider writing about a mistake that an ancestor made or that you’ve made in your research.” Well, I recently spent a whole week exploring a big “oops” in my family tree.
Education
This week we explore the theme of education. I approached this by looking at both my pedigree and Dale’s and searching backwards to find the first ancestor who advanced beyond high school.
Out of Place
Catching up on the “52 weeks” challenge, we’re asked to write about someone who was “out of place”. This one was easy; I have an ancestor who was most definitely “out of place” when he died.
Favorite Photo
One of my favorites is a 1914 photo of Ted Rademacher (Dale’s grandfather) with two younger siblings, Clem and Albert.
The ancestor I’d most like to meet…
The ancestor I’ve most enjoyed researching, and the one I’d most like to meet is my great-great grandmother Gustafva Johansdotter.
