Following on the heels of the Frasier letters, I’m now turning to a series of legal documents related to the Frasier family.
First up is a very old Warranty Deed from Montgomery County, Iowa. Andrew Fraser purchased an 80-acre farm from a group a group of four people with surnames Johnson and Stennett. He paid $1000 in cash.

This map shows the general area of the farm (use the embedded Google Maps tools to see it map view). It is about three miles north and east of Emerson, Iowa.
