MISS BELL TO WED IN JULY
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Richards announce the engagement of their daughter, Lexy Lou Bell, to Douglas Pearson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hilding Pearson of Ord.
Miss Bell, senior at the University of Nebraska, is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Sigma Iota honorary. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. H. C. Harrett.
Mr. Pearson, also attending NU, is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha honorary and Sinfonia.
The couple is planning a July 9 wedding at First Methodist Church.

MISS BELL IS WED
Miss Lexy Lou Bell and Douglas W. Pearson asked the Rev. H. C. Barrett, grandfather of the bride to assist at their 4 p.m. Sunday wedding in the First Methodist Church. Parents of the couple are Messrs. and Mmes. Ross F (Dick) Richards and Hing Pearson of Ord.
The bride chose a floorlength gown of white satin for her wedding. The bodice featured a bateau neckline os scalloped lace.
Mrs. James Gibb of Lexington, Ky., was matron of honor and Miss Marlene Barrett of Omaha was maid of honor. Miss Kathy Gibb of Lexington, Ky., was junior bridesmaid. Bridesmaids were the Misses Tomilee Hughes of Norfolk, Sharon Dietrich of Wir, Nancie Booth of Walton, Nancy Watton, Ann Bloomquist and Arlene Cook.
Serving as best man was Bruce Pearson of Ord. In the corps of ushers were Jim Barrett, Don Richards and Bob Ruester, all of Omaha, Dean Sich of Ord, Charles Garner of Cozad, Joel Lundak and Gordon Strong.
The coule planned a wedding trip to Florida and New York City. After Sept. 1 they will live at Shelby.
